Gandharnava – botanical ingredients

This is not meant to send anyone hunting through the Voynich manuscript for these plants. They might be there, or not.

I’m including them just to complete the description of the ‘Perfume Ocean’.

Two of the sixteen I could not identify:  ‘shell perfume’ may be a generic term;   ‘Candana’ would appear to one of the sandalwoods, such as  Santalum album (Indian Sandalwood –  now an endangered species) or Pterocarpus santalinus (Red Sandalwood also known as Red Saunders or Rakta candana).
